1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit (for example, your preferences or that you are signed in). Cookies can be set by the website you visit (“first-party cookies”) or by a third-party service used by that website (“third-party cookies”), and they can be deleted at the end of the session (“session cookies”) or persist on your device for a set period (“persistent cookies”).
Similar technologies — such as web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage — can perform comparable functions. Where we mention “cookies” in this Policy, we mean cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we currently use cookies
boolanga.com is a single-page application built without analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking scripts. As a result, at the time of this Policy’s last update, the website itself does not set any cookies on your device.
The few requests your browser makes when loading the site (HTML, CSS, fonts, video assets, our careers content) may be logged by the hosting infrastructure for security and operational purposes; these logs do not rely on cookies and do not identify you personally beyond a temporary record of your IP address. If you click links to third-party services such as our careers site (career.boolanga.com, hosted by GoHire), our scheduling tool, or our LinkedIn or Instagram pages, those services will set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies.
3. Categories we may use
If we introduce additional functionality in the future (for example, web analytics or marketing tools), we will update this section and, for any non-essential cookies, request your consent through a banner before they are set. Possible categories are:

As of the “Last updated” date above, the only category in actual use is strictly necessary, and only insofar as our hosting infrastructure may require it. No analytics, preference, or marketing cookies are set by the website.
4. Third-party cookies
The website itself does not embed third-party widgets that set cookies on the boolanga.com domain. If you click an outbound link to a service we use (for example, GoHire, LinkedIn, Instagram, or our scheduling tool), that service will be responsible for any cookies it sets on its own domain. Their privacy and cookie policies apply, not ours.
5. How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see what cookies are set on your device and delete them individually;
- block third-party cookies;
- block cookies from specific sites;
- block all cookies; or
- delete all cookies when you close the browser.

If we add a consent banner in the future, you will also be able to update your preferences directly on the site.
6. Other tracking technologies
We do not use web beacons, tracking pixels, fingerprinting techniques, or persistent local storage to identify you across visits. Our standard server logs (which do not rely on cookies) capture limited connection metadata for security and debugging purposes only and are retained for short periods (see our Privacy Policy).
7. Changes to this policy
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and, where required, request your consent through a banner before any new non-essential cookies are set. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when the Policy was last revised.
