Celebrating Rider's Day

Hello there, dear delivery riders!

Have you heard of Rider's Day? 🚲 Food delivery riders can receive a free fast food meal after a hard day's work on July 20th in Singapore. 

McDonald's Rider's Day was first announced in 2022. It aims to "commemorate, celebrate and appreciate food delivery riders for their hard work, commitment, and contributions".

Food delivery drivers only need to wear their delivery uniforms and visit any McDonald's location in Singapore between 12 and 8 p.m. to earn a ticket for a free meal.

The meal will consist of a McChicken, Cocoa-Nut Pie, and Dasani water. Additionally, they will receive a promo code on the McDonald's App which they can use to redeem a six-piece Chicken McNuggets.Riders from all platforms can claim their free meal.

At Boolanga we see that people are not always aware of how many hardships food delivery people have to handle on their day-to-day work. Hence, this initiative hopefully also brings attention to that and riders will be more valued in the future.
